K-12 Program Highlights

During the first week or so, the team will first “pair” with the student in order to build a rapport with them. Pairing is essential in building a rapport with the student, thus establishing the staff as the ultimate reinforcer. Once we have successfully paired with a student, we begin introducing “mastered tasks” and reinforce the students success which in turn establishes “instructional control.” After this step is complete, we begin conducting assessments to help develop unique goals that are individually tailored to each student. A new IEP is created for each student within the first 6-8 weeks and will consist of 15-20 goals.
